PARENT & PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

RESPECT
Players and parents must show respect toward coaches and staff, teammates, opposing players and families, referees and officials, other Soberano families, facilities, fields, and the game itself.
Disrespectful, threatening, discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

PARENT & SIDELINE BEHAVIOR
Parents are encouraged to support and cheer for their children in a positive manner.
Coaching from the sidelines, arguing with referees, confronting opposing teams or families, or interfering with coaches during games is not acceptable.
Parents and spectators must remain in designated spectator areas. Parents and spectators are not permitted behind the goals, and only authorized players and staff may be in the team bench area.
Children who are not participating in the game may not sit on the team bench unless authorized by the coaching staff.
At Soberano Soccer Club, we are committed to providing a safe, positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for every player, family, coach, referee, and opponent.
Being part of Soberano means representing our club both on and off the field. We expect all players and families to respect our standards and values.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR RACISM & DISCRIMINATION
Soberano Soccer Club has zero tolerance for racism or discrimination of any kind.
Racist comments, slurs, gestures, harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior directed toward any player, parent, coach, referee, opponent, or other individual will not be accepted.
We proudly welcome players and families from all races, cultures, nationalities, and backgrounds. Everyone involved with Soberano is expected to treat others with dignity and respect.
Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or removal from Soberano Soccer Club.

ATTENDANCE & GAME ARRIVAL
Consistent attendance is important for individual and team development. Families should communicate with coaches when a player will be absent.
For games, players are generally expected to arrive at least 30 minutes before kickoff, unless otherwise instructed by their coach.

CLUB STANDARDS & PARTICIPATION
Registration with and participation in Soberano Soccer Club require players and families to follow the club's rules, values, and standards of conduct.
Soberano Soccer Club reserves the right to decline registration, suspend participation, or discontinue a player's participation when a player, parent, guardian, or family member repeatedly violates club policies or behaves in a manner that is unsafe, discriminatory, threatening, abusive, seriously disruptive, or inconsistent with the values and environment of the club.
Decisions regarding registration and participation will be based on legitimate club, safety, conduct, and program considerations and without unlawful discrimination.
Our priority is maintaining a safe, respectful, positive, and productive environment for our players and families.
